LA VISTA DAYS PARADE

10 a.m.-12 p.m.

COST: FREE

Kick off the day with a dazzling display of local talent, featuring marching bands, colorful floats and community groups showcasing their spirit. Get ready for confetti blasts and the chance to see your favorite hometown heroes strut their stuff.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. and will follow the traditional route from 87th and Park View to 75th Avenue.

Please note: 84th and Park View Blvd. will close around 9 a.m. for the parade and should reopen around 12:30 p.m.

PARADE REGISTRATION

Parade registration is closed for 2024

Participation levels include floats, pedestrians, vehicles, musicians, political candidates and marching bands/music performances.

  • Parking for La Vista Days will be available at these locations:

    • La Vista Community Center

    • Central Park (Santa’s Workshop)

    • Harrison Street Baptist Church (8015 Harrison St.)

    • Bethany Funeral Home and vacant lot to the east (8201 Harrison St.)

    • Along Park View Blvd. (after parade, approximately 1:30 p.m.)

  • Watch from anywhere along the parade route—along 87th and Park View Blvd. to 75th Ave.

  • • Lawn chairs

    • Blankets

    • Sunscreen

    • Water

    • A plastic sack to collect candy
